Kingdom Businesses
Three Purposes:
- To be profitable with the ultimate goal of being totally self sustainable. Thereby eliminating any needed support from the U.S. churches, support groups or foundations.
- To create local jobs and enhance the individual and the individuals family with an opportunity to become financially self sufficient and provide for financial growth.
- To develop a permanent cash flow to support the local churches, evangelical and social programs annual needs. To provide adequate reserves for expansion and additional church planting.
Over the years, Project New Hope International has started several businesses. Some have been service related (flower carts, pronto wash-car washing units) some have been agricultural production units (dairy, snail farm, cuy farm, small product farms) and some have been artisan production units (hand made alpaca products, beaded and knit purses, jewelry and children's clothing).
As we began to develop these varied Kingdom businesses, we learned to adapt to the realities of the Peruvian culture and the emergence of a negative world economy. Many changes are being made on a regular basis and the Peruvian entrepreneurial spirit and the Peruvian work ethic have played a major role in this evolutionary process.
