CREATING JOBS TO CREATE ECONOMIC HOPE

One of Project New Hope's goals  in Trujillo, Peru, is to create businesses in order to help this project become financially free from support from the U.S. by the end of the six year project.      We also want to create jobs and job training.  We have a team of people working to create different levels of business.  This project is being lead by Ron Birtcher.  He has recruited and is developing a group that calls themselves "Team Trujillo".  They are a group of Peruvian professionals, living in Trujillo who are committed to help us carry out a large number of projects.   The mission of this business development is to serve our fellow man in Trujillo, Peru, and the surrounding area by creating jobs and opportunities to help them become self sufficient in their life and to bring them the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are various levels of development in this project. Cottage industries in which people can make things in their own homes to sell.  Mobile stores to take needed products to the many neighborhoods on the outer edges of the city where the people live in very humble situations.  Strip malls in each barrio where we are working with a small general store, a hardware store, a bread store, a computer cafe, a one room clinic, and a room we can offer to the police department for their use as a substation.  Profits from industries, businesses, companies, or factories (beyond maintenance and expansion) will go back into Project New Hope to enable it to keep expanding.
