PROJECT NEW HOPE INTERNATIONAL

Bringing Hope to those who have lost hope!

We are a project being carried out through a joint venture of Team Expansion of Louisville, Kentucky, (you can see their web page listed in the index) and Project New Hope International.

We have two North American families working on the project (with the Buktas family living in Trujillo, and the Hendee's in the States) and currently 6 Peruvian families, 1 Peruvian single lady, and 3 Chilean families all living in Trujillo.  We will seek to add one more family about the middle of 2007.

John and Carla Hendee are Team Expansion, non-resident missionaries, on this project. John is the Executive Director of Project New Hope International.

Pato Bustamante, Maggie and daughters Tanya and Katia. Pato and Maggie are both preachers kids. (Their dads ministered in Chile.) They grew up in the atmosphere of ministry and God used that background to prepare them for this work in Peru. They were sent out as missionaries to Peru and worked in Tacna, Peru, for 6 years before becoming leaders of our Latin Team in Trujillo. They moved to Trujillo in January 2005 and have spent the year laying the groundwork for our project. Their daughters are active in the mission.
